NOT IMPRESSED! Ok so I stopped over in Denver on the way to Las Vegas. After I checked into the hotel I was to exhausted to ride around and look for something to eat. I had just driven from NJ to Denver and the car was the last place I wanted to be. Our hotel had room service but the menu was lacking. So I jumped online to see who delivered. I found Perry's. The menu looked great. Also it had some back east swag....so I was definitely ordering from there. Ok So I opted for the boneless teriyaki wings. My nephew ordered the wings with the bbq sauce on the side with curly fries. For dessert we had the fried dough(I ordered the one with the raspberry sauce) and a cannoli. My boneless wings were the size of mini ice cubes. The teriyaki sauce was non existent. Whattttttttt? The portion wasn't enough to make a small child full. I kid you not(pun intended). Was uber disappointed. My nephew said his wings were just "ok" The fried dough was a big let down also....THEY FORGOT MY DARN RASPBERRY SAUCE! (and yes I am screaming). What is what these people and adding sauce? The cannoli was actually pretty good!

This Place is tucked away but is beautiful. The owners have done a solid job with their brand. The pizza is great, and other solid menu options, the atmosphere is casual yet, cool, a very relaxing place. The staff is nice, and a little inexperienced but certainly try. The prices are very reasonable for the nice place that it is. Approximately 45/50 beers on draft, with a great mix. I'm sure it is very tough to staff because of the area, I'm sure they'd like to stay open later but the area and the location may not allow for that. I've been in the bar/restaurant business for years (28 years) and I can tell the owners have a solid passion for doing something good with their product! Good for them! And I'll do my best to support this place.

Parry's pizza is OK. We've been multiple times (at least 7) and are always drawn back when were craving pizza and beer but typically leave disappointed and surprised at the cost. Yes, Parry's has an extensive beer list, but it changes so much and so seasonally, we sometimes have a difficult time finding a beer that is in stock we want to drink (sometimes quality is better than quantity). The pizza is alright (nothing super special, but the full pizzas are big) but with a salad and a beer, it makes for an expensive night out. Service is typically hit or miss leaning mostly towards a miss. The last time we were there, I think the waitress totally forgot about us even though we were in a booth right in front of the bar! The food came out before our beers and our water glasses were never refilled. We've been to the Highlands Ranch Parry's for special beer tappings (Pliny, anyone?) which are busy and fun and we will probably still attend, but the food overall at Parry's seems expensive for mediocre food and service, so I doubt we'll give the Greenwood Village one another shot.

Love the pizza every time we go and have yet to be disappointed after tons of visits and various pizzas. Also, huge beer selection with some great options- also love the rotating specials - $3 for a good pint is a steal. All in all, solid pizza, good staff when we've been and great micro brews. Take my money!

Decided to try Parry's the other night for dinner. We immediately were greeted by the owner. He was absolutely rude and disrespectful! If we were not starved we would have left before meeting the server. Ordered a round of beers that took forever to arrive. Ordered waters that never arrived. Pizza actually was tasty and reasonably priced. If we eat here again we will be getting take out as the serves was terrible and the owner was an arrogant jerk. I would think twice about going here and go down the street to Big Bills for Delicious NY style pizza and wonderful service

Great food, knowledgable bartender, nice ambience. Ordered pizza and a meatball appetizer, both better than most local pizza joints. Definitely worth a try!

I wasn't planning on writing a review based on my visit, but I almost didn't come to Parry's based on previous reviews. I feel the need to let others know this is a good spot to enjoy some bites and beers with friends. I was in search of a good beer place that served food. I was looking for a restaurant that was halfway between us & friends that live in the southern suburbs. I wasn't too sure about Perry's after reading the reviews? Then I realized most were on some rant that made no sense. I had a few Yelp friends that enjoyed it so we went for it. The restaurant is below ground but there's plenty of light and I like the atmosphere of the dining room. The exposed red brick adds a nice ambiance. They also had a nice small bar with plenty of televisions on to catch the game. You get a nice glimpse of the 50+ beers on tap. What drew me here was I knew they had a great selection of craft beer on draft. I needed a place for us to eat where I knew I would enjoy the beers. Yeah I was thinking about me, but I obviously wanted everyone to be happy as well. Our group had four adults and three teens. We're old friends and hadn't seen each other in years. Our waitress was great and had a lot of patience while we sat there and drank for an hour before we placed our order. I was in heaven with the beer menu. They have a fantastic selection of craft beer on draft with many "great" selections. I will say my friend who doesn't venture much into the craft beer world was a little disappointed not to see PBR on the menu. We did find a beer that ended up pleasing her so all was good. Our table ordered three pizzas and these things are huge! Everyone was happy with their pizza. A couple of the teens ordered sandwiches and a calzone. They were pleased as well. We also enjoyed a free order of Parmesan Bites thanks to my Yelp check in. Our group was there for three hours and we had a great time. Service was fabulous the entire night. I look forward to checking out the other Perry's Pizzas. I see they often have some great craft beer events & tap takeovers. I would come back here just for the craft beer alone. The food was a tasty added bonus. Cheers to pizza and beer with friends!

LOVE this place, especially for lunch (or anytime you want a craft beer). This place has over 50 beers on tap and all of the bartenders are very knowledgeable. They have TVs and WiFi and I've actually taken my laptop and just hung out at the bar..."working" while watching soccer games :-). Every time I've been the service has been excellent! The lunch special as others have mentioned, can't be beat! $7 for a personal pizza and a Craft Beer!! The pizza is SO YUMMY! I usually get the Pepperoni. If you are anywhere near this place, you have GOT to check it out!!

some places really take time to think about their concepts and menu. Parry's is such a place. If you are from NY you will recognize it in the names of apps, entrees, and even pizzas. The beer menu is big, but even better, it is eclectic. they always have some sort of special going on, and you can get beers on tap here that you will have a tough time finding elsewhere. The service is friendly and curteous and they do a good job with coming out with your food pretty quick. My party had the veggie pizza and it was thin crust, fresh veggies, and very good. the kids seemed very happy with their choices as well. The atmosphere is very casual (pizza shop!)

WORST STAFF EVER!!! Let's just start by saying we ordered a pizza at the bar, from another place, in front of the bar tender without her even noticing. We walked in with a big party, granted, and was told a 20 minute wait. Then a male server walked by her to interrupt her to say that it would be 30-45 minutes. Okay, we will wait at the bar. My husband tried to order a beer and was literally told, "hold on, it will be a few minutes" without even looking at him. He left and got a beer at The Dusty Boot. I told the hostess we would take two booths back to back and before I could even finish she interrupted me, telling me, they would sit no one for 30 minutes. We ordered a few appetizers and those were not that great. That's when we decided to order pizza from another place and leave. Between the terrible attitudes and the rolling eyes, I'm never going back.

The lunch special here is awesome and service is quick for a weekday lunch. I've had issues with parking in this shopping center before, but luckily Parry's is on the side with lots of parking (versus the side with Rice Bistro). For only $6.99, you get a personal cheese pizza and a beer from their list of about five offerings during lunchtime and the pizza comes out pretty quickly. I had a decent wheat beer (forget who made it) and added crispy eggplant and basil (like Jesse H) for like $1.50 more. The pizza would have been a perfect size sans beer, but I managed to squeeze an after work snack out of the meal by taking home half. If you're a pizza snob, the pizza probably won't blow your mind but it's like $2-3 after you take out the cost of a typical craft beer (~$5). It's really pretty decent and they have good toppings to add. Parry's is also known for being a good spot for craft beer so I imagine this place would be good for a DTC Happy Hour (hint hint).

Wow! Lunch special of $6.99 for a personal pizza and a beer! I'm in. AND the pizza is good, and the beers are craft beer. Heck yeah! This place was a great pick for our most recent DTC lunch club!! Seriously, one of the best lunch specials out there, and mostly because it includes beer, and good beer at that. They have a list of 5 craft beers to choose from for the lunch special and when I was there I saw a good representation of varieties to appeal to everyone from an IPA to a brown. Oh and the pizza! I decided to stay au natural (aka just cheese), but for about $.50 per additional topping you can still walk away with a cheap lunch. The pizza had a good thin crust, and overall good flavor. I did have a little regret not adding sausage when I saw the thin slices on a fellow Yelper's pizza. Service was good, and the place wasn't busy at all so it was easy enough to get in and out. Nice space that had the cozy exposed brick look and good seating options. The kicker was when I found out about the insane number of beer taps they have in the bar (50!- I think), and that they do frequent "tap takeovers" with craft brewers. I will definitely be back to check out more of the beer offerings! Family friendly food with yummy beer choices for the grown ups makes this a double-win in my book.

Just went with the family this evening and started with poor service followed by a salad with an 8 inch hair. Complained to Ryan, the manager, and he said that he was sorry I felt that way? WTF? What an idiot.

If you have not been here go, the beers are great, and normally the food is as well. The regulars here have been leaving however and the management is the problem and shows in the staff. Mid 2014 and newer reviews are the ones to look at. Check Castle Rock and Highland store reviews too. My advice, phone order to pick up. Go early and have a beer and get out with minimal interaction with the staff. If you see Dave and want to have fun let him know his ego is showing, but expect to see it and get asked to leave. If you try to become a regular you will meet the dark side. And maybe get kcked out! Not to worry though, Dave saved me thousands per year last night because I thought the C Rock bar was better when the previous bartender was there that Dave fired. Dave was eavesdropping on my personal conversation and butted in, so I said how I feel. Or tried, his ego won't let you talk and the incorrect facts that spew are amusing if nothing else. Take it as it is, normally ok to good food, good beer, poor to mediocre prices, hit or miss on service, and if you meet Dave just tell him you think he is a god and he will still charge you for ranch to have with your pie anyhow, but may not throw a temper tantrum.

Really good pizza! A bit pricey, and the calzones could be bigger, but all in all a good place to go for pizza in a town that does not have many good pizza joints (spoken as a former New Yorker!).

    (4)
  • Peter M.

Alicia rocks. So does Lauren. Great beers out in the sticks... Ok, well it's not actually the 'sticks' these days, but is was wide open fields when I was a kid growing up in Colorado. I popped into this joint with some friends who are local to the neighborhood for a bite and a beer. The beer selection was good, and tasted very fresh and clean (as opposed to flat and funky). The pizza was really pretty good as well. Good spot, nice ambiance, great staff!

Lots of craft beers on tap. Laid back. Great place to watch a game. They have amazing chicken wings, their New Mexican pizza is a must try, and their creme brulee cheesecake with caramel is the best cheesecake in town. Not 5 stars because sometimes service can be a little slow at the bar; doesn't bother me, but might bother some.

Good thin crust pizza and a great, ever changing, craft beer selection. That makes it good for both kids and adults.

They have a wall full of beer on tap, pizza is fresh and crispy, tons of appetizers (garlic parm balls yum), and good service. I love the look and feel of the place, especially with the exposed brick. Husband and I shared a specialty pizza for $20. Would be a good place to catch some football.

Lower quality than Pizza Hut pizza with a gourmet price tag. Will not return. I wish I had read the yelp reviews before wasting my money at this pizzeria. I was extremely disappointed with the pizza from Parry's. I love to support local businesses, but they have a lot of work to do before I will give it another try. We ordered eggplant parmesan pizza to go and ate it at home within 20 min (price was $22 for large). The pizza was bland with a sparse amount of sauce and the eggplant left much to be desired. When you think eggplant parmesan you think bubbly cheese and marinara with crispy eggplant, unfortunately this pizza had none of these characteristics. Maybe if it had more pizza sauce it would have been better, as this was the main attribute it was missing. It was so blah I didn't even want to have more than 1 piece and left overs were only edible by pouring marinara sauce all over the slice. For now I will stick to more tasty pizza places in the area, namely Z Pizza, Fiocchi's, and Sazza.

Pizza lovers, look no further! Parry's Pizzeria has the BEST thin crust pizza in the Denver area. It's in the King Soopers shopping center at Holly & Orchard. 50 micro brews on tap. Eat in, take out, or delivery.

  • Sharon L.

Thought we'd give this place a try since it's in our neighborhood so we called for delivery. No answer at 6:45PM so we drove over but they were closed. Tried again another night and they delivered the order but it wasn't even close to what we ordered. Manager apologized and said call again and he'd buy us a Calzone. Tried to do that at 6:45 PM and again they were closed even though their hours are list with 8PM closing time. It's no wonder they aren't very busy and have such bad reviews they don't seem to care about being in business. If you decide to give them a try make sure to call first and confirm they are open as it seems they set whatever hours they want.

This location has gotten a LOT worse instead of better. The service (if you get any!) sux. The food quality is also suffering. It's a shame, they had potential.

The food is good, unfortunately the service is TERRIBLE! Severs and bartenders couldn't care less about customers. This is the third time I've been there and the same bartender is horrible and rude!!! If you want to food, get it to go or delivered save yourself from being treated poorly when you aren't being ignored

Parrys is one of my favorite places! They have 50 beers on tap, that change monthly. Its our own neighborhood beer fest! The pizza is great, appetizers are good especially the meatball bake. Alicia ia a fabulous bartender! Try it soon!!

Great food, outstanding beer selection that rotates frequently. Bar staff is friendly and knowledgeable about what they have on tap and always willing to offer a suggestion. Never had food here that I didn't like. We usually visit Parry's at least once per week. If you're into craft beer, definitely one of the best spots in the area. Their "Tap Takeover" events are definitely worth checking out. We typically go for the Madison Avenue white pizza, or the I Love Meat. The calzones are excellent as well. I've never experienced what the other reviewers have mentioned with the poor food quality and bad service. We always get good food and great service, but we're usually on the bar side of the restaurant.

I have been here several times and recently read all the negative posts and wanted to help raise the star rating. I have had Summer, Alicia, and Ashley as bartenders and all have been excellent. Summer and Alicia definitely know their beers and recommend beers based on your tastes. Alicia recognizes me by sight although I have only been a half dozen times. Ashley checked my ID and told all the bartenders my name so that every time they came around they referred to me by name which makes the experience better and increases their tip. Parry's has these $3 beers everyday that rotate once a month. Great opportunity to try new beers. Today they blew the keg on one of the $3 beers so they started offering $3/10 oz pours of Lips of Faith Bier de Mars. Haven't had many mixed drinks except the Angry Balls which is delicious anywhere. As far as food, I have had the spaghetti and wings (since I'm allergic to diary can't have the pizza). The spaghetti is mediocre but the wings are decent for the price. I get the hottest sauce which apparently has Habaneros in it. I don't find it super hot but for basic bar food at least it has nice flavor. I've only sat in the bar so I can't speak to the service by waiters but my tip for the best service is to sit at the bar and not in the booths by the bar.

A little disappointed. Tried their lunch special (drink, salad and 9 inch cheese pizza). The salad was packed into a bowl and dressing served in a cup that was packed into the bowl and spilling everywhere. The pizza was served on a small, hot metal platter, and I was not offered a plate. When I asked for one, the server rolled his eyes. The pizza is nothing to write home about. Just a plain old pizza like Dominos. I would have loved to see some fresh buffalo mozzarella instead of the boring mozzarella they used. The service was poor, despite very few people there. The server wouldn't actually stop at the table to check on us. He would ask as he was walking by, again despite the fact that there were no other tables there. When I asked him what was on their salad, he didn't answer me. He just flipped to the page of the menu and pointed to their salads. When I asked for no onions, he said, "You could just have a boring caesar salad." Umm, ok? The restaurant itself is decorated well and ambiance would be much better if they turned down the music a touch. Also, it was way too cold in the restaurant.

The service was good but my food was f'in terrible for the price. The pasta and marinara sauce tasted the exact same as what I could've bought from my local grocery store. Just sayin.

9.99 large pies on Monday. Awesome. Great selection of craft brews. Only reason it doesnt get a 5 star is b/c its located underground and one cannot enjoy the great CO weather....not in a good divey underground way...in an upscale strip mall.

I came to this place on a Sunday and it wasnt to busy which was nice. The food was good but it doesn't give me the I want more feeling. Which makes me think I'll never be back. It could of been the beer selection which is actually a really good selection and the company brings in other beers regularly too which is nice. BUT I like a light beer like coors light or bud light. Something that isn't so filling when I'm trying to eat. If they get one of those two piss poor drinks I'll come back and try it again

  • Jesse H.

Oh the noms you will have! Go here for lunch, as I did, and enjoy a personal pizza and craft beer for just $7. Well, that's a lie. You'll probably add toppings, as I did, and pay between $9-$10. Still a great deal. I added eggplant and "fresh basil flakes" (oxymoron, but they did seem fresh) and enjoyed an IPA alongside. The pizza was impressive and filling. With the calories from the beer, you could easily save half for later. This was a perfect location for the DTC lunch club! I hear it gets pretty packed in the evenings, especially during tap takeover, so I'll continue to hit this up as a lunch spot.

Having just moved to the DTC from good old Larkspur, the boyfriend and I were given a gift basket upon signing the lease to our new place. Not only did it boast a few essentials [toiled paper, sponges ....] there was a coupon for a FREE pizza at Parry's! As I've gotten older, my tummy has gotten more and more sensitive, which poses a problem when I eat lots of bread and cheese together. Despite the upset feeling, I love the way pizza tastes and eating it....so putting up with a tummy ache, proves to be worth it every now and then. I was mad impressed with Parry's for a number of reasons. Here goes: 1. The staff is amazing. We sat on the patio, were greeted fairly promptly - all with a smile. our waiter, new to Denver, was very interesting. Told us of his military background, his interest in weather and what he was going to school for. I am always a fan of when people are personable and feel comfortable chatting rather than dropping off our food and running away. He gave us a few great suggestions of what to try and encouraged us to try their selection of craft beer. 2. The food is awesome. We started off with an order of wings and pickle chips, which were both fresh and cooked to perfection. I have never had a more perfect pickle chip and the wings were perfectly dusted In sauce and delicious. the pizza.....is made NY style, with huuuuge slices and oh so good. we devoured a large "summer of 2010" pizza - spicy yet perfect! 3. The selection of beer is awesome. Not only do they brew their own beer [ at the Castle Rock location], but they have a ton of local craft brews! mmmmm! 4. Prices are great for all you get! Thanks Parry's - we will return!

Came here on a Friday around 12:30ish. Had a party of 8. Place was empty. They only had 3 tables. With that being said...the service was not good. Menus weren't provided. We had to ask for them. Kinda weird. We ordered appetizers and pizza. It took about 35 min for the appetizer to come out and another 35 to 40 min for the pizza. Never been to a restaurant that took that long to serve food. We almost left because we were starving! Our waiter was friendly but didn't come by to check and see if we needed anything. Food was good but was really dissapointed in the service.

Coming from NY, I was excited to hear about Parry's. Read reviews saying that it's some of the most identical NY style pizzeria food out here in Colorado. Went to the Northglenn location and it was everything I could have hoped for. Went to this one on a Sunday around 6pm, and service was slow. There was nearly nobody in the restaurant and it took about 15 minutes to get our drinks and to have our server come back to place our order. If speed wasn't an issue, this would get 4 stars, but the slow service dropped the rating down.

Went to Perry's tonight for dinner with my boss. She got a pizza. I didn't have any, but it didn't look great. I had ravioli, recommended by a cute waiter. It was good, but not remarkable. Little bit small too if you ask me. The happy hour specials from the bar weren't great either. Nice decor, good service, but the food left something to be desired.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
